I. Am. Speechless.
Trust me. That’s a feat of epic proportions. No seriously. It’s pretty impossible.
So, I was not expecting that to happen when Shane’s birthday gift to me showed up today. I know he rocks at gifts [cue Kitchenaid mixer], but speechless? Nah. No way.
So, he’s been talking about my present [since it was arriving late] and if there is one thing you need to know about me, I hate surprises. No seriously. I have the patience of a toddler in a toy store, and want to know things immediately. But no matter how much I begged and pleaded and pouted, he wouldn’t give. Stubborn as a mule, that one.
So, this came in the mail today, and I was like… Did he buy me a tv? Because we already have two, and one is only really being used for my yoga DVDs. So, while I REALLY like tvs…. I was kind of confused.
[The military gear is part of the present. They are just part of the messy Marine apartment]
So when I opened this box, my face just broke out into a huge smile.
[A Thomas Kinkade Disney painting. The Princess and the Frog to be exact]
I have wanted these paintings [yes there are MORE!] since I first laid eyes upon them, and this one more than the others. They are beautiful, and I am obsessed with Disney. Now. If only he would paint A Little Mermaid one. :)
So anyways. Now I just have to figure out where to hang it, since I think it would look better on my walls than my couch. Haha. Thank you to the best man a girl could ask for. I love you so much!
What a wonderful gift--how sweet!
