I Should Not Be Allowed to Dress Myself

Hey y'all!

How was everyone's weekend?! Mine was pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself. After Busch Gardens on Saturday, I met some guys at the barracks and we made plans to go to Colonial Williamsburg on Sunday. Colonial Williamsburg is this neat little historical attraction where you walk around and see what it would have been like in 1776. People dress up, and it's fun. The campus of William and Mary is there also. I took a few pictures, but alas, I left my computer cord upstairs. Blog fail. Sorry y'all.

I came home last night and went to Target for a few things, but mostly to walk around and chat with my best friend for an hour and a half. That was awesome. As much as I hate the phone, I sure do love talking to her. Especially when my little angel isn't there to demand her mommy's attention in the first 5 minutes. :) She gets slightly jealous of the telephone.

I bought the movie Fried Green Tomatoes, and watched it. I had never seen it before, and I thought it was pretty good. I was disappointed in their accents, though. Very disappointed.

OH! Before I forget. I wore the super adorable white dress that I bought, and it was still super adorable. Super see-through adorable. And I had no clue. Because in the awful dressing room lighting, and my awful barracks room room lighting, it is not, in fact, see through. However, out in the beautiful May sunshine of Colonial Virginia..... very see-through. I didn't find this out until the day was over, however. Oops. Perhaps that's why all these college were giving me the stink-eye. I know I would have.... Haha. Whoops.

Today was pretty boring. Navy stuff, nap stuff, gym stuff. The usual. :) I'm off to stalk y'all now. ;-)

  3. I have honest to goodness nightmares about accidentally wearing see through clothes. Why on earth would someone make a see through dress, anyways? That's just dumb on their part. At least you had fun!

  5. my friend and I were just talking about see-through dresses and why they're made! I've never owned a slip but I need to get one because I've been burned a few times w/ the visible panty line, etc.

  7. Aww can't wait to see all your pictures - sounds like you had a great time!

Also, I totally had the same thing happen to me with a skirt just recently! I bought it on a Saturday and it looked fine in the dressing room so I wore to CHURCH the next day... yeah. Definitely didn't find out it was see-through until Sunday afternoon when I was walking around outside (with the sun shining bright, haha) and Christopher was like "Um... Rach... your skirt is see-through" haha!

  9. Wearing a Gator Apparel even without a tie has always been a clean cut look throughout modern history.
