Camera Fail

Hey y'all!

Today was fun. I started with some XBOX (hey, I'm an addict. I know this.), then decided to get out of the room. I had no idea what to do today, so I just jumped in the truck and went. I started with the post office, and mailed Rach her giveaway winnings, so she should have them sometime later this week, yay!

Then I headed to Chipotle, and got my usual burrito. Seriously, it's only rice and chicken. Super simple, but makes my heart flutter thinking about it. Yum. Serious yum. The Chipotle is right across the street from Barnes and Noble, and let's be honest. Do you really expect me to ignore that?! Nope. I didn't think so. So inside I headed, to my happy place.

I ended up stumbling across Carrots and Cake's book, so I decided to get that. I also bought a cute little food/exercise journal, and the Complete Idiot's Guide to Clean Eating. Yup, that's right. Eating Clean. I'm going to give that a go. I think my body will love me a whole lot more if I stop feeding it processed food. Now, as a disclaimer, this isn't going to start until I return to Florida, since I have a fridge full of frozen foods, since I am still in the barracks with a microwave as a 'kitchen'. And I don't want to waste all of it. So, I leave for Florida next Friday, and that's when I'm going to start.

I'll probably start out small, and work my way up, but I'll keep y'all posted. :) Sorry for no pictures, I did take some, but I left the cord for my computer up in my room, so I'm picture-less. Whoops. I hope everyone has a super awesome day!

  1. I HIGHLY recommend the Kashi frozen meals. The black bean mango dinner is GREAT and the spinach pizza is delicious. I live in a barracks too and when we fly I take that kind of stuff up with me. I'm trying to find out how to eat healthily in these circumstances too. Good luck!

  2. I have the same kitchen situation--I'm living in a hotel room with my hubs until our house is finished being built. At least a month left to go. And yes, we have a microwave/mini fridge as our resources too!

  3. Eating clean sounds painful. My girlfriend the yoga teacher does it, though and swears she feels better and drops weight really fast. I'd love to hear about how it goes since I keep thinking about trying it. Good luck!

  4. Ahhh! YAY! I'm so excited! I was just thinking yesterday that I needed to go to the library to get something to read... now I'll just wait for the mail instead! :D

Look forward to hearing how the clean eating goes once you get a chance to start :)
